In game one, Graceland (10-33, 3-17 HAAC) surrendered 16 runs on nine hits in a 16-1 loss to Mount Mercy (30-11, 17-3 HAAC). On the mound, Fernando Velez provided the most effective relief outing, allowing one hit with two strikeouts over 1.1 scoreless innings.
