Bio
Coach Aaron Richardson enters his second season as Head Coach of the Graceland University Women’s Flag Football program, following a historic debut year. In 2025, Richardson led the Yellowjackets to their first-ever winning season, finishing 13–9, and secured the program’s first appearance in the KCAC Conference Tournament. With a strong foundation now in place, Richardson looks to expand on that success and continue building a championship-caliber program in Season 2.
Before joining Graceland, Richardson served as Director of Flag Football Operations for OC Elite Football Club, where he helped the team achieve a top-ten national ranking in its inaugural season. Concurrently, he was the Offensive Coordinator for Mater Dei High School’s flag football team. He also held a position in University Advancement as the External Relations & Events Coordinator at Concordia University Irvine.
Richardson’s coaching background also includes time at Esperanza High School, where he served as the Varsity Wide Receivers Coach and Assistant Offensive Coordinator, developing dynamic offensive strategies and mentoring student-athletes.
A native of Seattle, Washington, Richardson graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School, earning three varsity letters in football and four in track. He garnered five First Team and two Second Team All-Conference honors in track & field.
He continued his track career at Concordia University Irvine, qualifying for the PacWest Championships all four years in the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles. In his senior year, he earned First Team All-Region honors in the 60m hurdles, and still holds two school records in the 110m hurdles and 60m hurdles.
Richardson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Concordia University Irvine.
