Ja'Mozyia Williamson was named the inaugural Head Flag Football Coach at Graceland University by Director of Athletics Brady McKillip on May 13, 2026.

Williamson brings a strong background in coaching, education, and student-athlete development to the Yellowjackets. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a passion for building competitive programs while emphasizing leadership, accountability, and personal growth both on and off the field.

Prior to joining Graceland, Williamson served as the Flag Football Coach and Virtual Education Teacher at Spoto High School in Riverview, Florida. He also held coaching positions at Mulrennan Middle School and Strawberry Crest High School, where he worked with student-athletes in skill development, game preparation, and team culture. In addition to his scholastic coaching experience, Williamson coached youth athletes at Kids Across America, leading flag football instruction and mentoring campers during multiple summers.

Beyond coaching, Williamson has experience in education, serving as a teacher and substitute teacher in both Florida and Texas. His background in the classroom complements his coaching philosophy by emphasizing communication, leadership, and the holistic development of student-athletes. He also worked as a facilitator for Ramapo for Children, helping create inclusive and engaging learning environments for young people.

Williamson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Langston University, where he was a student-athlete and worked in campus recreation at Langston Gym. During his collegiate experience, he developed a passion for mentoring others while gaining valuable leadership and organizational skills.

A dedicated educator and coach, Williamson is committed to fostering a championship culture built on discipline, teamwork, and excellence. He looks forward to leading Graceland's inaugural flag football program while helping student-athletes achieve success both academically and athletically.
