As the curtain closes on this remarkable campaign, the Yellowjackets celebrate a year defined by growth, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. With their best record in over a decade, the team not only set new standards but also laid a strong foundation for an even brighter future.
This season, the Yellowjackets achieved milestones that embody the spirit of their journey:
- A Winning Season: Graceland posted an impressive 7-5-3 record, achieving their best winning percentage since 2009. Competing against a strength-of-schedule ranked 25th nationally, the team proved they could perform at the highest levels.
- Academic Excellence: The Yellowjackets excelled off the pitch as well, recording the program's highest academic scores in a decade. A record-breaking 19 players were named Academic All-Americans, highlighting their commitment as true student-athletes.
- Cultural Renaissance: Through teamwork, accountability, and excellence, the program experienced a powerful cultural transformation, fostering stronger bonds among players and renewing their competitive edge.
- Historic Results: Graceland posted a 2-2-2 record against six NAIA National Championship qualifiers. The team secured a tie against the defending national champions on their home turf and another draw against the nation's #3 RPI-ranked team.
Highlighting the Yellowjackets' success were three exceptional players whose contributions earned them All-Conference honors:
- Tyler Dailey: A senior captain and midfield maestro, Tyler led by example, serving as a constant offensive threat and an inspirational figure for his teammates.
