LAMONI, Iowa – Graceland University will send five wrestlers to the 2026 NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championships, scheduled for March 5-7 at Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The official seedings and tournament brackets will be released by 5 p.m. Friday, setting the stage for the Yellowjackets' national matchups.
Under first-year head coach Evan Hansen, Graceland has placed five athletes into the national field: KJ Fry (197), Kazz Hyson (285), Jeraimiah Nyberg (174), Davion Wilson (133) and Chris Wohrley (184), as confirmed in the official championship qualifiers list released Feb. 24 . Fry is the lone returning national qualifier, while the other four Yellowjackets will make their first appearances on the national stage.
The national tournament appearance caps a strong debut season for Hansen, a former NAIA National Champion at heavyweight. Last week, he was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year following the conference championships hosted by William Penn in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Wilson secured an automatic qualification at 133 pounds and will compete in his first national tournament.
174 – Jeraimiah Nyberg (Sr., Mesa, Ariz.)
Nyberg earned an at-large bid at 174 pounds in his senior season. This is his first national championship.
184 – Chris Wohrley (Sr., Oklahoma City, Okla.)
Wohrley punched his ticket to Wichita with an at-large selection at 184 pounds . The senior will make his first national appearance and brings veteran leadership to the Yellowjackets' lineup.
197 – KJ Fry (Jr., Osceola, Iowa)
Fry qualified automatically at 197 pounds and will compete at nationals for the third consecutive year. The junior stands as Graceland's most experienced national competitor and will look to turn that experience into a deep championship run.
285 – Kazz Hyson (Sr., Fairbury, Neb.)
Hyson claimed the automatic bid at heavyweight, rounding out Graceland's five qualifiers. Competing in one of the tournament's most physically demanding divisions, the senior will aim to make an impact in his national debut.
