Graceland Women’s Golf Posts Individual Results at Clarke Spring Invite
GALENA, Ill. — The Graceland University women's golf team competed at the Clarke Spring Invite on April 7, posting individual scores against a competitive NAIA field at Eagle Ridge Resort (North Course).
Graceland was represented by three individuals, led by Rylee Zimmerman, who carded a 101 (+29) to finish 16th overall. Macy Schilb followed closely with a 100 (+28), placing 17th, while Kennedy Jones recorded a 120 (+48) to round out the Yellowjackets' lineup. The tournament featured a par-72 layout measuring 6,071 yards, emphasizing approach precision and short-game execution.
Mount Mercy (Iowa) claimed the team title with a 328 (+40), while Clarke A (345, +57) and Loras (370, +82) rounded out the top three. Graceland's competitors faced challenging scoring conditions, with limited birdie opportunities and a premium placed on course management and consistency off the tee.
"We saw stretches of solid ball striking and improved tempo throughout the round," said head coach Kevin Brunner. "Our focus remains on tightening dispersion and converting more looks on the greens as we prepare for the next event."
The Yellowjackets return to action April 15 at 12:00 p.m. CDT at the Storm Spring Classic at Indianola Country Club in Indianola, Iowa. For more information on Graceland women's golf and all Yellowjacket athletics, visit GUjackets.com.
